XF 1.5 Create Sibling / Child node option vanished from Node Tree

Hi folks.

Our node tree has suddenly stopped displaying the Create [Sibling/Child] option in the Node Tree.

Max columns in the Default Layout Options is set to 7, and only 5 columns are displayed (instead of 6).

We have 501 nodes.

Is it possible that a server setting is causing the node list to time out so XF is dropping a column to display it all? Could it be a template error? All ideas welcome

The option is removed after 500 nodes for performance reasons.

You can still add them using the link at the top right.
