That would be a good place for an inline error message that doesn't load a new page. Then it wouldn't clear the form.

Also, related suggestion...

I would like to see automatic draft saving on posting forms, ala gmail. Then if your browser crashes or you lose the form for whatever reason, there would be a prompt somewhere on the posting form to restore a recently saved draft.

Yep, mentioned it during the demo. I was secretly hoping it would already be in alpha 1

Yup. Bring the user back to the form with all their data pre-filled and highlight each of the fields that need attention. Something along the lines of this, but cleaner of course.
