While playing around with the API to add a thread to a node, something helpful is to allow an optional timestamp parameter to be passed. If we are using the API to create an importer from another forum or blog, for instance, we want to preserve the date and time of what we are importing.

I do have two add-ons that allow me to change the time and date, but it's tedious to go in and do hundreds of threads manually.
