I would really like there to be consistent margins around:
unfurls
quotes
embedded videos
images
etc.

The problem is, I format a post and forget which ones have the margins and which don't and end up with an ill-formatted post of double line breaks here, butted text there.

Embedded videos: no margins top or bottom
Images: top no, bottom yes (small)
Quotes and unfurled links: yes top and bottom (large)

This makes posting more laborious, trying to remember which is which, when if consistent, we'd remember... okay, I need to line break to show a line break.... which is more WYSIWYG since we only see the code until preview... or even if they all had margins, we'd remember, okay, I don't need a line break, but having them all different does not make for easy posting without preview and edit for those that like uniformity.

Either that or WYSIWYG before hitting preview (which I am not suggesting, I like the editor, and that can be heavy/cumbersome).

Thanks!

An example:

I post a quote and a line of text directly under it.
I post a quote and add a line break, then a line of text.
The result is the same! XF does some correction and leaves the same amount of space.

I post a link that unfurls and a line of text directly under it.
I post a link that unfurls and add a line break, then a line of text.
The results are different. In the second example the line break takes effect as well as the XF default space.

This causes confusion and malformed posts because the elements act differently. Thanks

What it does is create unexpected results because you forget which one has the line break, which one has the padding, which on is flush, etc. If it was uniform, no matter the styling, it would not. You would know exactly what to expect each time and not have to edit your post because oops!
