It is very unusual to NOT see a success message after sending a message via a website contact form.
I can't find an answer or an option for this. Does it not exist? Something like:
"Thank you, your message has been successfully sent, and we will respond as soon as we can."
Or similar.

EDIT: I see this faintly at the top after sending a message. Where could I change the duration (1 second ain't enough, 4 seconds could help).
And maybe change the background color?
