XF 2.2 Conditional for forum view

What conditional statement can I use in the navigation menu to only list a forum if the user has access to view?

I am adding my forum list under a drop-down on the submenu.

I'd like to know this as well. A node navigation will not be shown to usergroup(s) without access to the node.

A conditional statement isn't required.

Any visitor/member without permission will not see the navigation tab.

How bout navigation display of node's children, is there an attribute we could use to specify the depth of nodes so only children will be shown and not the 'grandchildren'?
