Lack of interest CLI equivalent for admin.php?tools/upgrade-check

so one could check for updates in the command line. Otherwise the CLI does not know about the current update available and you have to go to admin.php?tools/upgrade-check then do the CLI update.

Hmm, I don't see much point in running an upgrade check from CLI as it is not currently possible to download upgrades from CLI anyway.

So even if you could run a check from CLI you would still have to download and unpack the ZIP anyway in order to be able to run a CLI upgrade.

Or am I missing smth. here?
