XF 2.0 Changing Unread Post title color

Is here a way to change the color of the thread title for unread posts? Because of the font I use, the bold on unread posts doesn't really distinguish itself very well from the already read posts.

Alternately, I remember using an add-on for XF1.5 that put a small "New" icon next to unread messages. That would work well, also. But I can't find an XF2.0 version of an add-on that will do this though.

Maybe @Xon can say, what event puts the class 'is-unread' in the templet?

XF 2.0 - Watched Threads - No option to view only unread Watched threads.

Users used to be able to show a list of only unread Watched threads. This was a crowd favourite in version 1.5 - where did it go in v2? Is there a setting somewhere to enable it?
