XF 1.2 Changing the theme of your XenForo site?

So basically I was finally able to update to 1.2. Unfortunately, the template is out of date and after talking to the creator, he does not have the time to update it to 1.2. So therefore kind of forced to change to a new theme because many features on the old template are not working. My question is... how do I change from one template to another? Also, will this change majorly screw up the formatting of the site currently, or is it just like slipping on a new pair of shoes (excuse the bad analogy).

Here is the website I'm attempting to change the template on: www.synapsehlp.com

Currently the theme is PhantomCraft designed by PhantomIndex. (it's a Minecraft Forums site)

Looking to switch to the highly overused but still effective: http://xenforo.com/community/resources/minecraft-style.819/

What do I need to do, what should I expect?

Sorry, but as you can probably tell t'm extremely new to this. Did do a bit of searching on the forums but nothing I found seemed to be specific enough.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    Install the new style.

    Set it as default.

    Uninstall the old style.

Is uninstalling the old style necessary for this to work?

You'll have to ask the theme author for help if it isn't working for your forum.
