Change Username

Hey

I'm new with XenForo, and there is my first question.
I want to build a bridge between WHMCS and XenForo.

The problem is the username, is there a way to send the register api (https://xenforo.com/community/resources/xenapi-xenforo-php-rest-api.902/) code without a username, so the useres log in with their mail and prompt to choose a username?

Or should I post this under the resource?

I think it would be better to post at that resource support topic to get advice from its author.

You'd need further custom development - I don't think that resource supports this and I don't think it's meant to either.
