Change the "Share a link with your followers" twitter text on the forum home page

    Hi there,

I'm wondering if there is an option to do this (without making template edits)

I see when you click the xenforo twitter button, it gives the default text:

    "XenForo Community http://xenforo.com/community/ via @XenForo"

The first part being the page title...

Is it possible to customise this text (to something people will actually want to read.. and something a bit more enticing, including relevant hash tags)

I don't see that text, but I don't tweeter so that might be why. Presumably that text uses XenForo's boardTitle setting which you can change in the options, but that would affect multiple areas, and I can't find that specific instance in the software.

Maybe some one else who is familiar with Twitter can help you to locate that text.

It's the text that is set before it launches the twitter dialogue.
Xenforo may have been tweeted close to 160 times with the following link:

    https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=http://xenforo.com/community/&related=KierDarby&source=tweetbutton&text=XenForo Community&url=http://xenforo.com/community/&via=XenForo

Which is basically just this in a tweet:

    "XenForo Community http://xenforo.com/community/ via @XenForo"

    But it could be this:
    https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?or...1st century&url=http://xenforo.com/community/

(click to see, it wont go to twitter unless you click the tweet button)

It's a shame the default text wasn't a little more "spicy", hardly anyone will click through, I'm very doubtfull that text will ever get re-tweeted

I don't see why it has to be the same as the boardTitle, just sending the title to Twitter users isn't very useful at all.
People like to read text, text that is louring... you've got 140 characters to play with and potential hash tags, none of this is being exploited by using the default "boardTitle". I think it's a must enhancement

Yes, this is the default text that can be changed... but ppl are lazy.
I think many will click the tweet button, then will see that the default tweet just looks like a spammy link and won't even bother to tweet it (the link is fine, although it could be abbreviated/tiny, but the surrounding text is very dull, making it uninteresting / spammy for a tweet)

The page title used in sub pages is fine, but on the main page it should be possible to customise it. (it would also be nice to have post and prefix options for all page tweets.. so we can add hash tags)

Is this something that could be core, or shall I go away a write this plug-in (even if it's just for myself) ?
