Change domain name from fx.nawcc.org to mb.nawcc.org

I thought this would be really simple but I seem to be stuck.

We set up our new forum server on xf.nawcc.org and have finished our development, testing and import of our old vBulletin site. Now I want to use the name mb.nawcc.org for the new site and shut down the old one.

I changed the ip address on our Bulkregister account to the new ip address for mb.nawcc.org, but I do not know what to do with cPanel/WHM and/or .htaccess to complete the transfer.

I figured out how to do this in cPanel/WHM and edited the site URL to match. One changes the URL associated with the site owner account in WHM.

It's easy

First in WHM go to:
Account Functions » Modify an Account

Select the account you want to change and press "modify".

Change the "Primary Domain" field from the old domain to new and click save.

After that just update your "Board URL" under Options » Basic Board Info in your XF Admin Panel and save.
