XF 1.1 Change author of a posting

Hi

I imported several vb forums into one XF forum. Now I have a problem with 1 user, who has the same username like another one but different email address. They have been merged together and I can not correct this anymore, since the forum is life again for a few weeks now.

Now I am looking for a solution, to go to the postings of user 1 and change some of them to the user 2 as author of the posting.

I guess I have frst to create a new user account for user 2, since he does not exist anymore after the merge. But I do not find a way to change ownership of specific postings from user 1 to user 2.

How can I do this?

You would normally use these queries:

I need to be selective. It is only around 20 posts out of 200 which belong to another user.

How do I know a posting id of that specific posting, so that I can chnage the user id for it?

And in which tables I have to change that?

The table is xf_post. The post_id is in the URL when you edit a post. Example:
