XF 2.2 Category Admins

I'm looking to allow specific users access to be an admin for a category. They would be allowed to add/edit nodes.

I see options in the "regular admin" permissions, but I assume those are globally applied. Is there any option to restrict admin rights to a category?

There is nothing built in which allows for that level of granularity.
