MG 2.1 Can't upload images; shows a grey strikethrough

Hi,

Having trouble here.

I've set the permissions accordingly (all set to "Unlimited"), and the image will upload and show the loading progress bar all the way to 100%, but then it ends up having a grey strikethrough line.



Any idea what's going on? I've tried this on my Default Skin as well, but same problem.

I'm using Namecheap cPanel Shared Hosting.

I am in Namecheap shared hosting too, but I don`t have this problem. Definitely is from admincp settings.

It's most likely being tripped by mod sec. Contact namecheap and let them know. We have namecheap and when we started our forum, we had issues with attaching files.

@GenCommunity you allowd png to the allowed attachment file extensions?

Go to ACP - - Setup - - Attachment

um i went to the cpanel and disabled mod security and now i can upload images using attachments and also in the media gallery

don't know what mod security is but its staying off i guess

It's not a good idea to totally turn it off. You need to have your host whitelist the rule that its triggering so it doesn't happen.
