Can't upgrade

I just tried to upgrade to the latest version but it's acting like it wants to do a fresh install. ?

After the configuration is verified, I get this page:



When I click on begin installation, I get this:


Right now I'm stuck there and can't open my board back up.

HELP!@

Your config.php file is missing, possibly the contents of your data and internal_data directories too, including install-lock.php.

Did you upload the upgrade package?

Oh boy, I sure did it this time!

First, I accidentally deleted my forum files on the server. I re-uploaded everything I had on my computer and because of this, I had to do a fresh install. I got my forum working again but I'm the only member listed now.

I checked the mysql database and all the old info is there thank GOD!

I realize my forum will be starting over like the day I first moved from VB to Xen but how do I get my members info back in?

Uh, never mind. I just realized I have to import my old VB stuff over. My head hurts and it's not working too good right now.

All of the data is stored in the database so as long as you have re-uploaded the server files, all of your content will still exist, including members, configuration, etc.

What you will have lost though are avatars and attachments as those are stored in the file system.

Yeh, luckily I only lost what was posted recently so not a biggie. A lesson learned the hard way.
