cant update user

Hey,

i want to update a user. i did searched and hit on user and checked on group and clicked on save user.. but it doesnt saves... i.e. it doesnt opens edit user.. it opens new user and says that username already there and email tooo. this wasnt happening in previous version. i am on latest version.. any help??
