Browser issue Can't type into editor in Apollo Browser for Ipad

One of my users can't see any of the rich text editor buttons and can't type into the text editor box using Apollo Browser for Ipad.

That app hasn't been updated since 26 July 2013 and probably isn't up to date with iOS 8 developer guidelines - I don't see why the XenForo developers should be responsible for supporting such an outdated third party browser..
