XF 1.3 Can't transfer and overwrite the files for my xenforo side in order to update us.

Hey guys, I'm trying to update my website to the latest XF version but it keeps giving me a Fileop error and idk I to get rid of the stupid error here's a screenshot of the error.



if you guys can help me out I'd be extremely greatful.

Oh I forgot to mention I'm trying to do this on my admins host through file manager.

I've encountered it a few times when using cPanel.

Try using SSH (if available), otherwise a standalone FTP application such as WinSCP.

kk ty brogan, would filezilla work too or is WinSCP not a normal ftp client? by not normal I mean does it have functions filezilla does not have.=/

I wouldn't recommend Filezilla - it's too inconsistent and currently there is an open bug related to random file permission errors anyway.
