XF 2.3 Can't get 3 character search to work

I switched 4 character to 3 character minimum search string. Then went to Tools -> Rebuild caches and selected Rebuild search index for all content types. After rebuild of the index, I still don't see any results.

Is there another step I need to do to rebuild the cache?

Shouldn’t this be be in the Enhanced Search forum, AFAIK you need that for 3 character searches unless you use a * wild card for 4th character.

I am not using enhanced search. That's weird xenforo would allow 3 characters without the add-on being available :/

Can I search in the nearly released v1.1 for 2 characters words (trademarks, etc.)?
(This feature is one of the most important to me.)
