XF 2.3 Can't disable dark/alternate mode

Hi,

I am moving to a new theme soon due to all the messy css I have which causes conflict with dark mode. However I would still to give users the chance to use the light version of the theme. I am unable to disable variations in styles as it messes up the site completely. Is there any workaround here so that I can disable it another way?

Oh, missed that. No, not another way. By default XenForo will show the system color for initial guests. There is an add-on out there to force a specific color version but I don't think that changes existing members.

You really need to get the style sorted versus trying to hack a workaround. I'll be honest, I've seen styles break when variations are enabled but not the other way around. If it's a third-party style, I'd suggest reaching out to the author. If it's one you've made, post the errors you're getting here.
