XF 2.1 Cannot get Mails from Forum anymore, 2FA not working, locked out

So, I somehow managed to get not mails for 2FA anymore from my xenforo. I still have full access to the server, but no access to the ACP anymore.
I have a second admin (who is on vacation, so no computer with him, only his mobile) and he already deactivated 2FA in the following settings:

but I still cannot login, I am still asked for the second factor - how should I proceed from here? I have no backup codes whatsorever (I don't understand why not, but will get them as soon as I am back in the ACP....)

Add this to your src/config.php with the following line: $config['enableTfa'] = false;
This should disable 2FA globally.
