XF 2.3 Cannot change settings in Admin section.

Hi Folks.
This one has me puzzled. As far as I remember everything was working fine within the admin section of my site. I then decided to look at maybe allowing Gravatars, so I went to the relevant section but found that although the text was there for the various 'buttons', none of them were active?

So for example I can see:

Enable Gravatar support

If enabled, your users may source their avatars from Gravatar. When a new user registers, XenForo will automatically search for a Gravatar associated with their email address. If disabled, this will not remove Gravatars from users that already have them.

But the above is EXACTLY how it shows i.e. no active link/radio button/tick box or what have you.

After finding this I started checking more and found that there were MANY sections where it was not possible to change the settings? However, there are other items on the same pages that CAN be edited (those where there is a number input option).

I restored the site from a recent backup, the host and hosting package are the same, as is the version of PHP (ver8.3).

I have tried every version allowed from ver7.2 all the way up to ver8.3, but each time the results are the same.

I've tried both Firefox (which is what I've always used without issue before), and I also tried Chrome. Same result with either browser.

I've run file checks, all comes back as OK. It's the latest version of Xenforo, and my license shows up as OK.

Does anyone have any clues what might be the cause of this?

I did wonder if maybe something was either missing or damaged when I restored the site from the backup, but other than these "missing links" all else seems to work fine.

Thanks, Mark...

Try rebuilding the masted data via /install .

If that doesn't work, then it could indicate some sort of corruption related to the backup and restore.

Thanks Paul!

Spot on. Just rebuilt the master data and all of the icons/buttons have returned. Yay!

I now have small tick boxes which were not there before. Tried toggling a few of them on or off, all seems to work fine now.

Many thanks again Paul.
