XF 2.1 Can we use cpanel for a XF cron job?

There's one that runs at midnight (and needs to) so I need to adjust +1 -1 hour every time DST changes because XF does not honor server or site time. So that's my question, can we run one from cpanel? Thanks

Disable the existing XF cron task.

Create a new one with a different time.

However, does it really matter that the time the cron runs differs by 1 hour?

Yeah I created a new one I set it to run at 5 am (UTC) so it runs at midnight. So I have to edit it when DST hits.

It's a cron that creates threads and voting threads as well. Sometimes it will say you have X hours to vote. If DST hits in the meantime it screws it up an hour when the thread is updated/votes end because the cron triggers these actions. Also it says new contests are started at midnight ET. So we have to adjust it for those too. I'd rather set a cron and that be it instead of using my phone to alert me to adjust the cron twice a year.

So we can't run one from cpanel?
