Can the iPhone auto-green-screen someone?

Hi guys,

Anyone have a recent iPhone?

Wondering if the new iPhone X/XR/Xs etc. can use its understanding of a human subject to crop out the background and replace it with a color in real time.

Can you put a background behind you in real time? Like an unreal one? I saw something like that in an iPhone X demo.

Probably, using a custom AR Kit app. I think the X, XS and XS Max can do it with various objects as they have the dual cameras. The XR I believe is software limited to humans only due to the single lense. At least that's the case with portrait mode for the background blur, which I imagine would uses the same cut out tech required by a green screen effect.
