XF 2.3 Can not having an active license break add-ons?

So I need to renew one of my licenses, I plan on doing it soon, but I noticed yesterday some of the add-ons I have, some of their functionality appears to be well, broken? at least to me?

I know for sure I had more than 1 visitor online within the last 48 hours, this includes myself. I've also noticed an insane amount of guests lately.....


in addition to that, the streams add-on by @Jaxel , I had member live on Twitch all day yesterday and it never notified or pinged that they were live, I had to perform a 'force scrape' to see them and then another when they went offline for it to go away?


I don't see how, but is it possible that not having an active license is breaking these add-ons somehow?

That's what I figured, so now i'm just wondering why these two started behaving the way they did.......after having using them for years.....

I have a small forum, usually a few hundred guests at most. The last days the number of guests have been unusually high, around 3000 and climbing. We now have over 4800 guests. That's not normal. Many "Viewing unknown page" or "Latest content", with a warning sign. IP addresses are from all corners of the world. Many from south America, Brazil mostly. Also saw quite a number from Vietnam of all places, but everywhere else too.

We're on Cloud and I don't know what to do. Could we be under attack? We have been in the past, a few times I think. For reasons I cannot possibly fathom; we're a...
