XF 2.1 Can I just re-import to get the latest data before taking a test environment live?

I am moving from vB4 to Xenforo 2.1 in the next few weeks. I am currently running a test environment to learn Xenforo, it's settings and tweak my setup as I approach the changeover date.

My question is after I have already ran a successful import from vB4 a couple weeks ago, can I simply run it again to get everything that has changed since the last import (new users, new threads, new posts ...all changes)? or do I need to go about getting the latest data a different way? and would re-importing overwrite changes made to the Xenforo Admin options since the first import?
