XF 2.0 Can I hide the admin username?

I do not want people to be able to know who the main administrator is, can I hide the username?

Uncheck 'Display user as staff' for that member and optionally uncheck 'Show your online status'.

Users -> my user > uncheck Display user as staff
I dont see any change after this
But later I did it:
Users -> my user > uncheck Administrative -> uncheck Moderating -> set Registered
Later i have chacked with different user and its work..

But can you explain me please what the fisrt step does?
