Chris San would be most appropriate and Chris Kun if informal. Don't ever affix Chan... (See Japanese San, Kun, Chan suffix).

Not necessarily trying to connect you to them, as I can't speak for their post. I just know the Japanese suffix -san, -kun, and -chan. There is already that one Chirs Chan, derived from -chan, so I would stray away from ever using that as a nickname... Unless you're in Japan and with friends a bit older than you.

That said, with respect, Chris-SAN, could you take a look at this and tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong?

It can't work on 8.2:

And it can't work on 8.3.14 erroring out with another error (something to do with mbstring).

I've only found something on here relating to the importers running correctly on PHP 8.3.13.

Because shutting off in the face of uncertain humor and responding with deletion is a bad look and comes across as petty.

Yeah this is one of those few times I second a thread deletion without preserving details... No details need to be preserved here whatsoever.

The intent is now clear, and it's a terrible joke, if you can even call it that.

Googling Chris D (a professional developer) and this popping up is not a good look, for him or XF, in my opinion.

I'm only going to speak highly of Chris D this one time, as he has yet to deliver another HYS, but he is on the exact other side of the spectrum than what you proposed in this thread in a "joke" not really even fit for XF.
