XF 2.3 can an admin account be set to permanent “silent” mode?

We have the want/need on our forums to set an admin/moderator account to permanent “silent” mode, meaning the system would ignore that account's posts when it comes to the “Latest Posts” lists and so forth. These are maintenance posts that the readership have no interest in and don’t want to see in their “What’s New” and so forth.

Any recommendations for how to do such a thing?

Where are the "maintenance posts" being posted?

If they are in a private staff forum then members with no access to the forum won't see them.

No, the posts will be across our public forums. We have two halves to our site, the Xenforo side and a Wordpress side. We’re going through and cross-linking forum threads to content on the WP side: of interest only to someone reading that specific thread, often threads from months or years ago. Hence the need for this being done in “silent” mode.

And no add-ons that can put a specific account into “silent” mode?

How about something that puts a given account on everyone’s Ignore list? Would that accomplish the same end, at least insofar as not corrupting their “What’s New” and so forth?

Was about to suggest your best bet might be to explore:
Which has global ignores. Unsure if it will work in your context, but may be worth a try.
