About the project:
We're building a Xenforo Mobile App — a native iOS + Android client for a Xenforo-based online discussion community. The web/PWA version is already built with React + TypeScript (Vite + Tailwind) and communicates with the XenForo backend via a thin Supabase Edge Functions proxy (OAuth2 + REST). The app is functional today in the browser — we now need to ship it to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
What we need:
We're looking for a freelance mobile developer (or small studio) to take the existing codebase and deliver production-ready, store-approved native apps.
Scope of work:
1. Wrap the existing React app with Capacitor (or recommend/justify React Native / Expo if clearly better).
2. Native integrations:
3. Performance & polish: splash screen, app icons, safe-area handling, and offline graceful states.
4. Store submission:
5. CI/CD: set up automated builds (EAS / Fastlane / Codemagic — your choice).
6. Handoff: documentation + 30 days post-launch bug-fix support.
Required skills:
- 3+ years shipping production iOS and Android apps (please share live store links).
- Strong React / TypeScript; experience with Capacitor or React Native.
- Hands-on Apple Developer + Google Play Console submission experience (you've handled rejections before).
- Familiarity with REST APIs / OAuth2 token refresh.
- Bonus: experience with XenForo, FCM/APNs, or apps serving similar markets.
How to apply:
DM me here (on Xenforo) with subject "Xenforo Mobile App — [Your Name]":
1. Short intro (max 200 words) — why this project interests you.
2. Links to 2–3 apps you've shipped to both stores.
3. Your recommended approach (Capacitor vs React Native) and why.
4. Realistic timeline + fixed-price quote (or day rate + estimated days).
5. Your location & timezone.
Deadline to apply: 2 weeks from the date of this advert
Target launch: ASAP
