Buying used lisence from another person

hi can i buy used lisence from a friend who wants to close his forum.
If yes then can someone plz tell me how can i transfer software on my domain and hosting?

i did this via extralicense.com, the guys at xenforo swap the licence, but the license holder will have to create a support ticket requesting to transfer the license, and you will have to do the same also.

The license holder will need to log in to their account and submit a ticket requesting it to be transferred.

Once we confirm the license is eligible to be transferred, we then contact the transferee (in this case, you) to execute it.
