XF 2.3 Bulk move email addresses to non-functioning email field (e.g. per usergroup)

I have a usergroup flagged with emails that appear to be invalided. I want to move all of their email addresses into the non-functioning email field.

I image this must be done via an addon or a mysql query. Can anyone please tell me what I could use asa query that might do that, thanks

set nonfunctioningfield = email, email = ''
where user_group_id = 99999 ;

where 9999 is your group id and your xf_user table has been altered to have a nonfunctioningfield added to it. it's not clear what that is.


untested. do it on dummy data first.
