Build wrapper for Automated Referral Links

in our WordPress install we have a custom plugin that when a specific term is published in a blog post an automated link will be placed. We're hoping to find someone that can take this code and build a wrapper to make the same function work in XF. The ability to turn the function on and off as well as to retro undo any automated link would be important for when a sponsorship (advertising initiative) is over.
