Anyhow, it will take a bit before it will be used on a lot of sites.

Once the big sites and softwares that use Facebook & Twitter login use it it will become very popular

I am not sure any of those would be in any rush to adopt it They have their own sign in systems that ask for the information they want to know

OpenID has always been a pita to implement, BrowserID seems to be much easier - although I haven't looked into the details yet.
