Hello. A non-member has emailed me saying a fake account has been created in his name on my forum and is asking for the account to be deleted. Is there any way I can check this to be true?

You should consider taking action only if someone e-mails you from the same account it belongs to. Otherwise I can go to your board, say "user account xyz is bla bla, delete it please." for every account.
