Has anyone had any success with adding their XenForo sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools?

Google happily accepts it:
But on Bing it seems to struggle with .gz compressed ones, gets stuck on "Pending" and eventually goes to Failed"
(my first one is for WP which works)
I understand XF automatically pings Bing every 2 days with the sitemap but it would be great to get feedback from Bing's webmaster tools on the URLs crawled.
