Best way to handle DMCA / copyrighted images?

It's literally unavoidable that sometimes a copyrighted image ends up on your forum.
What's the best way to handle it?
Are there examples of a good disclaimer / DMCA request page for copyright holders?
I just want to cover my ass.

Ask people if you can use their images

Every country has it's own legal system.

We had a legal company draft a (form of) notice and takedown document that meets our countries legal system. Not cheap but the only way to be certain your forum is in the clear.
