So quick little back story. I started this website when I was in college (cough 2006'ish). It's tied primarily to Alabama Football.

The website got rather large, rather quickly, I was actually making some money too.

Anyways, then came facebook. Now I can't get anyone to re-register (I shut down for several years).

Thought if I relaunched it ever again, it'd be with the best software, so here we are.

Advice and recommendations are not only welcome, but extremely appreciated. I am struggling to get more than 50 hits a day. Used to be over 1,000 unique impressions a day :/

It's a good start.

Here are my recommendations
  • Add pages such as schedule, recruiting class, roster, historical info
    • These mages may be static for now, but it helps fill your site
  • Continue integrating school colors into the website
  • Make sure your staff uses avatars
  • Take the news slider off of the forum page
  • Interview recruits often, it's what people visit these type of sites for
Right now you are entering the slow season for sites like this, so grow where you can and work on developing your site.

Why not go back to a website first instead of a forum?
