I have a dedicated server with a good host (not naming names).
I have like 8 to 10 cpanel accounts and 99% of the sites are WordPress with one being Xenforo.
Recently I had an issue with my root partition disk space and server had some issues, specifically with my xenforo database which got corrupted and they had to restore a backup from 4 days ago.
While the host did a great job and managed to get things sorted, I was thinking of having an alternative backup of my sites.
Xenforo site is by far the biggest in terms of DB size. My forum has been up since 2006.
For the WordPress, I was thinking I will add one of the several backup plugins (All in One WP or Duplicator) and connect it to my Google Drive for daily backups.
With the Xenforo, I was wondering if there is any other option.
Looking for cost effective options. The overall gzip backup of all accounts put together is somewhere around 200G to 250G (plus or minus 20%).
Host already provides me with a backup (in addition to the cpanel backup) but I just thought I shall explore an additional backup option.
PS: I am not a server person. I know my stuff but I am not an expert.
