Avast! Detecting my Whole Install as Malware!

If you're going to use a free anti-virus

AVG is the answer.

If paid...

Kaspersky is the answer.

I once had avast tell me that avast was a virus.
Like always things change every year with anti-virus. Kapersky still is good. It was great. Bitdefender is on top now when it comes to finding viruses.

Probably because you styled it into a VB5 look alike. :ROFLMAO:

I found the whole network of NFOServers is blocked by Avast. So I contacted the host also.

Blah.

Bloatware (resource heavy) that couldn't find jack out a wet paper bag, while crying out false positives.
This couldn't be more FUD. I am doing a full system scan, and Bitdefender is using less resources than Chrome with 3 open tabs. Been using it for a few months now, and not a single false positive, and it is also consistently scoring high in both UI and security reviews. If I am not mistaken, the 2013 edition won the Product of the Year from AV-Comparitives. But whatever, they are probably still struggling inside a wet paper bag......
