MG 2.3 Automatically rename attachments?

I have some users on my forum concerned for privacy when uploading media to my forum. Is there a way to enhance privacy, rename attachments? Or strip data from attachments? Any suggestions would be great!

No idea. This was brought to my attention by a user who said it could be traced through exif data. I didn’t think it was a thing either?

In the XF gallery there is no personal data in the photos when they are uploaded...
tell your user that if he is so paranoid he should not use the Internet and you should throw away your cell phone...
