XF 2.2 Automatic Staff Role Sync

Is there a way to set a specific set of roles as staff roles? I want my staff member roles to automatically get the staff member display setting so they appear separate.

The 'Display user as staff' setting is at the user account level - it can't be assigned to a user group.

The accounts need to be designated as staff.
