As designed Autofill doesn't work for for User Search in Admin Panel

In XF 1.5, in the the Admin Control Panel, you could start typing a user name in the Find User search box. As you typed, a list of suggested names would appear. Like so:

In XF 2.1, in the Admin Control Panel, you can start typing a user name in the Search for users search box and... no suggestions. Like so:

This was a very useful tool. Is there any way to get this functionality back? Am I missing something?

The search box works in the same way, without the autocomplete bit - hitting search would take you to a similar list of results, which can further be filtered. In addition, it can also search IP addresses and email addresses.

It’s not really designed to be the same thing and is working as we want it to.

If you use the global ACP search it will suggest matching users.

Thanks for the information. Not that you have to explain yourself, but I am curious why this feature was removed, as the search bar in the admin panel seems to more or less be the same, but the lack of an autofill, feels like a step backwards.
