RM 2.1 Auto Icons for Resources & Attachments

1. Forum posts - Is there a way that the code can check for links to files and uploads in the forum and add a nice icon next to it.
Optionally add the file’s file size next to the link.

2. This would be especially useful in the official Add-on Resource Manager which has the option for a User to add an icon during the process of uploading a Resource to the forum... this is obviously out of the question for non-techy members of a forum...

There was an addon for xf1 from nobita; but he never does the version for xf2, i guess.
