Taking about letting the menus open on hover?

It'd require custom development, not an option built-in.

Well it was done in 1.x with the above link, was just curious if that would work with some minor edits or not. Out of the box it does not work.

Can't use really anything from XF1 on XF2, those old edits will not work.

Not not built-in. Built-out. Our users really missed that feature so we needed to put it back in. We did it on Big Footy (mouse over the alerts / convos etc and you'll see) but had to "fight" the XF JS to make it work. That is, you'll need custom dev by someone who understands JS and XF2.x rather than any option that you can set.
