XF 1.5 Attachments; show pictures without a break

I try to add a picture to my forum made from two pictures.

I dont know why and i cant see any css, but there is a space between the two pictures; anyway how i write the code.

[attach...1][attach2...]

brings nothing i see

picture one
whitespace
picture two

but i need to show them as one part.

Maybe someone has an idea, from which css this could come?
In html i see the <img ... in two lines and not like

<img...><img...>

Maybe this is the problem? How can i fix it, please?

Solved: the line-height is the problem here.
