XF 2.1 Attachments loading half the image

On mobile, attachments on my forum only load half the image until you tap the photo again. This doesn’t seem intended.

It’s been discussed here before in other threads. It’s an iOS problem on iPhones and iPads.

I'm bumping this one again. What causing the problem exactly? Would it be possible to have an addon that can circumvent this?

It still happens on both iPhone and iPad devices using iOS 13.x.

Do we know what is wrong with the iOS server that actually causes this?
