XF 1.2 Attachments after import

If I imported vbulletin and attachments were in an external folder (not the dtabase) what happens to them after import - do they go into the database or continue to go into that folder?

They are added to the data and internal_data directories in the XenForo installation directory.

XenForo does not store attachments in the database.

OK thanks, so after a successful import it is safe to delete the old attachment folder?

If you don't plan to use the old forum again and you are confident the import is final, yes.

No the last thing i want to do is ever have to deal with vBulletin again!
