Quick question. I've been using this to remove exif data from uploaded images. But have also just installed another addon that automatically embeds all images and removes thumbnails. Is this likely to prevent the exif data being removed on upload? I wasn't sure at which stage the exif data was removed. Or whether it's from the thumbnail or the embedded image - or how quickly it gets removed. Because if I have no thumbnails and auto-embeds. will the exif still get removed? Sorry if that's a bit convoluted.

I think it's still working. Just tested a few in an exif viewer.

Hi. I wonder if you could help me out with this.

On Apple devices, some photos are not showing up - blank white space with the jpeg file name at the top and small blue box in the centre with a question mark in the middle.

Edit - it's ok - it's only on images from BEFORE I used your addon to remove exif. Any older images had exif removed with exiftool - and those are the ones Apple isn't rendering/displaying. So your addon exif removal is keeping something that Apple needs, but exiftool seems to have removed something that apple needs.

Chat GPT suggested I batch process all the older files that were done with exiftool. Any help on how to do that would be appreciated! Not related to the addon - just reprocessing jpegs.

But - I have now noticed that guests can see all the images! But when logged in, they disappear. So maybe it isn't that after all.
